Mini Mix

This is a handmade lino print made from 14 mini linos from a 5 x 6 cm series and one larger 10 x 18 cm lino. After working on large lino print projects where I could only see the results after weeks, I really wanted to make the minis. It was really nice and fun to see how that process gave results in 1 day, from the design, to the stencil, to the gouging and printing on paper in 1 day. I then decided to make a collage with a larger lino for the centre to combine the minis into 1 print.

When designing, I wanted to challenge myself to make the designs as clean as possible with as much detail as possible. These little designs show a lot from my tattoo-artist life: animals, flowers, ornamental work, masks, geometry and, of course, fine lines.

This is a limited edition of 40 pieces. Printed by hand in black ink on white paper with light grain weighing 200 g/m2.
